These terms govern your use of EvolveU. They are written to be understandable. If anything here is unclear, write to us.
EvolveU is a mobile application published independently. The app, the methodologies it presents, the AI-generated reflections, and the brand are operated by the EvolveU team. By installing the app and tapping "Get Started," you agree to these terms.
EvolveU grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any iOS device associated with your Apple ID, for your own non-commercial reflection and practice.
You may not redistribute, resell, modify, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or the methodology content from the app. Practice content you write inside the app belongs to you.
EvolveU offers an auto-renewable subscription delivered through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Two options are available:
Free trial. The annual plan includes a seven-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. To avoid being charged for the first year, cancel through Apple Settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or yearly — unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the payment method on file at the displayed price.
Price changes. If we change the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify you and require your explicit consent to continue at the new price.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the iOS Settings app: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → EvolveU → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; your access continues until then.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
EvolveU presents seventeen source-cited methodologies for sustained thinking, with guided practices and AI-generated end-of-practice reflections. The methodologies are summaries of public research and traditions; the practices are interpretations.
EvolveU is not a substitute for professional advice. It is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Reflections produced by the AI are non-clinical and should not be treated as expert guidance.
If you are in distress or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your region.
You can terminate. Delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Your data is removed from our database within seconds.
We can terminate. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or attempt to harm other users or the app's infrastructure. In such cases we will, where reasonable, notify you and offer the opportunity to resolve the issue.
EvolveU is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do our best to ensure the app is stable, the methodologies are accurate, and your data is safe — but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that the app will meet every expectation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvolveU and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
If we materially change these terms, we will notify you inside the app and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after the change indicates acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the app will be resolved in the courts of Taipei.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these terms removes rights granted to you by local law.
